In case of being elected Pashinyan promised to eradicate monopolies  in Armenia

ArmInfo. The atmosphere of injustice, prejudice, fear and restrictions accompanied the citizens of Armenia for many years everywhere. On April 30, the leader of the "Make a Step" movement, the opposition member from the Elk faction, and the candidate for the country's premieres Nikol Pashinyan announced this from the rostrum of the Armenian National Assembly.

According to him, the citizens of the country faced this in public  life, in the conduct of economic activities, in obtaining education,  in the service in the army and in the civil service, while seeking  work and protecting their rights. According to the oppositionist, it  is necessary to put an end to this destructive system quickly and  unshakably: "No other Armenian citizen should feel humiliated or weak  in view of not having good connections or strong backs."   "The legality and the Constitution of Armenia should become that firm  support that belongs to every citizen of the Republic of Armenia. All  people will be equal before the law, and this will primarily concern  the family of the prime minister, his relatives and friends. The use  of levers of power for business will be excluded, and the law on  declaring the property of officials will be changed so that every  citizen of Armenia is sure that he knows exactly what each Armenian  official has and how his property multiplies when he is in a  position> , - assured Pashinyan, while adding that illegal enrichment  in parallel with being in power should lead to concrete consequences.   At the same time, the oppositionist gave his word that, if elected to  the post of prime minister, he would immediately exclude the  monopolies in the country. According to him, there will be no  prohibitions on importing this or that product or products to the  country. The deputy emphasized that they intend to do this not by  pursuing or putting pressure on someone, but by eliminating existing  obstacles, ensuring the dominant positions of economic  competitiveness and eliminating abuse. "The economy should be based  on knowledge and innovations, including sectoral diversification, and  our political policy will pay equal attention to all branches of the  economy for the purpose of insurance against internal and external  shocks," he said.

At the same time, he stressed that the expected financial assistance  should not be the basis for relations with the diaspora. The MP is  convinced that it is necessary to attract the powerful intellectual  and professional potential of the Diaspora in the construction of the  state.   At the same time Pashinyan stated that today hundreds of thousands of  Armenian citizens are under unimaginable credit oppression, which  creates a lot of threats for Armenia. "Lots of credit institutions,  using ignorance of people and their difficult situation, have placed  excessive loads on citizens." People are not only given loans at  unimaginably high interest rates, but they are attached to the  so-called notorious institution of the top, when the townspeople who  are in desperate position, the peasants are forced to donate 20-25%  of the credit received to the official or organization that provided  the loan, otherwise they will not receive anything, "the  oppositionist stated, who believes that it is necessary I can resolve  this issue in the shortest possible time so that banks and credit  organizations will not suffer from these actions either.   According to him, this process needs to be organized carefully,  without shocks and through negotiations and mutual consent.   Pashinyan also believes that it is necessary to change the attitude  to the citizen in the country as a whole. The deputy noted that until  recently, the authorities awarded the people only one function, and  the nominal one - to commit violations and be fined, thereby  providing some links with a stable income. "We need to put an end to  this destructive ideology, the Armenian people are not for fines and  violations, but for creation and innovation," the MP said.   The oppositionist assured that the popular movement in Armenia and  the Diaspora generated a powerful energy, the volumes of which can  not only stop migration, but also realize the greatest dream of  realizing the process of great repatriation.   At the same time, he expressed confidence that in the event of the  election of the people's deputy to the post of prime minister of  Armenia, multibillion investments will be poured into the country,  tens of thousands of jobs will be created, and millions of Armenians  will return to the country. In his words, this will be the key to the  successful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the dynamic  development of the country, the replenishment of the human resource  crisis, the increase of the fighting capacity of the Armenian Armed  Forces, and the eradication of poverty.   Pashiyan also said that the main mission of the "Make a step"  initiative is to ensure the victory of an Armenian citizen. In this  regard, he stressed the importance of restoring the institution of  elections, where freedom, transparency and fairness of the electoral  process are ensured.   In conclusion of his speech Pashinyan stressed that the discussions  in the parliament are not about who will be the country's premier,  but about who shares the happiness of his own people and who is who  cannot feel happy until his own people have made unhappy. At the same  time, he stressed that the victory of the people should be recorded  by today's elections.
