Nikol Pashinyan: Anyone who tries to steal victory from the people, whether a representative of  government or an oppositionist will  face the fate of Serzh Sargsyan

This was stated at the meeting in Vanadzor by the leader of the opposition movement, MP Nikol Pashinyan.

  To note, there is an information that besides Karen Karapetyan, Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Tsarukyan bloc, also intends to pretend to be prime minister.  

"If the candidate of the people is not elected to the Prime Minister on May 1, then the protests in Armenia and the Diaspora will continue with a tenfold scale. Our movement has one leader, and this leader is each of you, and on May 1 each of you should be chosen as the prime minister, "said the oppositionist, stressing that the acting prime minister Karen Karapetyan tried to steal the victory of the people, and in this tried to enlist the support of others. "And today the Republican deputy, the brother of the owner of the Tashir groups Samvel Karapetyan Karen Karapetyan said that the RPA should not nominate its candidate for the post of prime minister," he said, stressing that he expects other factions to unequivocally support his candidacy during the elections. "There is no other option," he said. 

Referring to  the today's statement of the Police, Pashinyan stressed that there should not be spiny wires and special equipment in Yerevan during the May 1 rally. He called again to be friendly to the police. "Henceforth, relations between the police and citizens should be built in this way," Pashinyan said.

  It is noteworthy that the oppositionist's speech interrupted the news that the Republican Party does not intend to nominate a candidate for the post of prime minister. Pashinyan informed the people about this from the rostrum. The gathered began to chant "Nikol, Prime!"   However, this did not inspire Pashinyan. He said: "This is not bad, but it will be good when all the parliamentary forces declare their readiness to support my candidacy in the elections, I am ready to meet with all the RPA MPs to prove that we are closing the page of hatred. If the RPA takes this step, it will become an accomplice in this historic moment. Again, I want to express the hope that other political forces will not try to steal the victory of the people, since this will lead to the marginalization of these forces, "the oppositionist said, announcing that from 12:00 on April 29 the actions of disobedience will begin again. "All roads must be closed, there must be a total strike, residents of Alaverdi addressed me with a request to close the railway," Well, do it. " And at 19:00 the most powerful rally will take place, which has taken place so far, "the oppositionist said, urging to open roads at 16:00 so that the people could reach the Republic Square.   "The only agenda for disobedience actions should be the election of the people's prime minister. But I apologize to citizens for the inconvenience, it's all done for you, "the opposition member summarized, while urging strict observance of the norms and requirements of the law. "Now you are power in Armenia," he assured the audience. The rally ended with a march through the streets of Vanadzor.
