Arsine Khanjyan to Serzh Sargsyan: Enough to cause suffering to the  people, give up office, respect the will of society

ArmInfo. The opposition rally started in the Republic Square in Yerevan. As organizers of the rally stated, the victory of the people will be ensured by the paralysis of the security system of Serzh Sargsyan. 

And this can be achieved by holding large-scale, peaceful protests in  various parts of the country and parts of the capital. The  oppositionists said that the movement is gaining momentum, it joins  all new cities and villages of the republic, as well as Armenian  communities and organizations abroad, prominent cultural figures.

The participants of the action established a connection with the  Canadian actress of Armenian origin Arsine Khanjyan. She said she  fully supports the fair popular movement. At the same time she urged  the people not to be disappointed and to bring their struggle to the  end. Khanjyan stated that many cultural figures of the Diaspora are  close to the Armenian people. She called on all opposition forces in  Armenia to consolidate in the name of change. "Make the present prime  minister a prisoner of the system he created," the actress called.  Turning to the Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan, she said: "Enough to  cause suffering to the people, give up office, respect the will of  society."

Singer Ruben Hakhverdyan, in his turn, said: "Who saw that the heroes  were in prison and the criminals ruled the people, we are against  Serzh Sargsyan, Karen Karapetyan and newly-born President Armen  Sargsyan." All our deputies have houses abroad, if tomorrow there  will be a war , they all will flee abroad."

The opera diva Hasmik Papyan stated: "The failed leader Serzh  Sargsyan must yield to the power of the people."
