


ArmInfo. Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed Sergey Kopyrkin as Russia's ambassador to Armenia.
"To appoint Kopyrkin Sergey Pavlovich as an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Armenia," the presidential decree says, the official Internet portal of legal information reports.
By another decree, Putin freed Ivan Volynkin from the post of RF Ambassador to Armenia.
Kopyrkin was born in 1962. Prior to his appointment to the post, he was Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the EU and the European Atomic Energy Community in Brussels.
