The case on the suit of the opposition bloc "Yelk" about  falsifications during the elections to the Yerevan City Council was  stopped for lack of corpus delicti

It should be noted that during the election campaign to the Council  of Elders of Yerevan, representatives of the block in the trash can  near the one of the pre-election headquarters of the ruling  Republican Party of Armenia found documents proving the mass  distribution of bribes from the RPA and other falsifications during  the election campaign. On the basis of these documents, the bloc  filed an action with the authorities to challenge the election  results.

As a result of elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan, the RPA  won an absolute victory, as a result of which the capital's mayor was  its candidate Taron Margaryan.  The Yelk opposition bloc and the   Yerkir Tsirani party also went to the Yerevan Council of Elders.
