Lawyer: Sasna Tsrer members are tortured

ArmInfo.As a result of the brawl between the associates of the Sasna Tsrer group, present in the courtroom during the trial of the group, law enforcement officers  were subjected to the drive of the brother of the defendant Gagik Yeghiazaryan.

To note, after the break was announced, during the court session, the  lawyer of the defendant Areg Kureghyan Ara Karagyozyan stated that  his client was tortured.

According to Karagyozyan, the brawl occurred after Kureghyan handed  him the paper. It was immediately taken from the lawyer by one of the  policemen. "After my client was taken away, he was thrown to the  floor and beaten. And now screams are heard from where the defendants  were taken, I assume they are beaten," said the lawyer, adding that  he is going to address this issue to the office of the ombudsman of  Armenia.

To recall, before the start of the court session on the case of Sasna  Tsrer on June 28, there was a fight between the defendants and the  police. The police forced the defendants Areg Kureghyan, Smbat  Barseghyan, Mkhitar Avetisyan from the courtroom, which was not  pleasant for the relatives in the hall.

They began to scream and beat on the glasses that separated  spectators from the court, after which a fight began between the  relatives and the stewards. The administrators, pushing, withdrew  from the hall part of the family defendants.
