Sasna Tsrer member stops his hunger strike after meeting with Tigran Mansuryan

Following a meeting with well-known composer Tigran Mansuryan, Sasna Tsrer (Daredevils of Sassoon) group member and painter Ashot Petrosyan, who is currently at the hospital for prisoners, stopped his hunger strike, lawyer Araik Papikyan says.

Papikyan says that his defendant is already receiving medical assistance he refused during his hunger strike.  

It was previously reported that Ashot Petrosyan went on hunger strike on August 4. Papikyan says that earlier his defendant expressed a wish to meet with well-known composers Tigran Mansuryan and Robert Amirkhanyan.   

Petrosyan faces charges of illegal keeping and transportation of weapons, seizure and demolition of buildings and vehicles. The court of general jurisdiction has chosen a two-month arrest as a measure of restraint against Ashot Petrosyan
