ArmInfo. Law enforcement agencies in Armenia have uncovered a case of human trafficking involving a minor boy and his father.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the minor boy and his father worked as shepherds for two individuals. They owed their employers 40,000-60,000 drams and, exploiting this, forced the boy and his father to work for them for over a month. Investigators believe this caused severe psychological suffering to the underage boy.
A criminal case has been initiated. One of the defendants has been placed under house arrest, and the other has been placed under a travel ban.
