


ArmInfo. On June 24, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a telephone conversation with his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi.
According to the government's press service, Narendra Modi once again congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his victory in the parliamentary elections in Armenia and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The head of the Armenian government, in turn, thanked the Indian prime minister for his congratulations, recalling that he had become the longest-serving prime minister in Indian history, wishing him continued success for the prosperity and development of the country.
During the conversation, the parties emphasized the importance of the continued development of friendly relations between Armenia and India and noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation. The need to intensify political dialogue and expand cooperation in the economy, high technology, education, culture, and other areas of mutual interest was emphasized.
The prime ministers addressed issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and discussed steps aimed at further deepening relations in a number of areas of the Armenian-Indian agenda.
The parties also emphasized the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries and advance new initiatives.
