After a school field trip, the boy was hospitalized in serious condition, suffering from memory loss. Doctors report that a high dose of a narcotic substance was found in his system. The student was allegedly drugged with sweets during the school field trip.
As the Minister of Internal Affairs noted, this is the first case law enforcement has encountered, and they are thoroughly investigating it. A criminal report has also been submitted to investigative authorities. Police, in turn, are conducting an operational investigation into the incident. The Minister noted that she cannot provide further details at this stage, but she did report that, according to preliminary reports, traces of a narcotic substance have been found. Active work is currently underway to establish the full context of the incident in order to move forward more quickly. She urged the media to wait until all the circumstances of the incident are clarified.
When asked whether there are any suspects, the Minister noted that no one has yet been identified, but the investigation is proceeding vigorously, and the first results will be available soon.
