Samvel Karapetyan: Azerbaijan wants to conquer Armenia via soft power  with Pashinyan`s  help 

ArmInfo. Azerbaijan wants to conquer Armenia through soft power with the assistance of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, as stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party. He was commenting on Pashinyan's statement during the campaign ahead of the June parliamentary elections in  Armenia regarding further plans to cede territories to Azerbaijan.

Karapetyan is confident that if Pashinyan is re-elected following the  results of the June parliamentary elections, the list of territories  to be handed over to the enemy will grow. According to him, this is  precisely why their political force is making statements about the  necessity to suspend this process. "This man will surrender  everything in a climate of fear. Perhaps it seems to our compatriots  that we are constantly bringing this up solely as part of our  election campaign. However, there is no connection. We are concerned  because we see their actions. They will make unilateral concessions  and accept 300,000 Azerbaijanis, and even that is not an exact  figure. And the question arises: who will stop this process?"  Karapetyan stated in a podcast published on his Facebook page.

The leader of the "Strong Armenia" party noted that, in this context,  he does not consider the arrival of Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister  Shahin Mustafayev in Armenia to be a coincidence. "He arrived and  issued new directives," Karapetyan asserted.

The politician also responded to information circulating in certain  circles that "he, Samvel Karapetyan, is a foreign spy." "I am indeed  a spy, a spy of the Armenian people. Pashinyan is worried because  every week we expose their illegal and weak actions, showing the  Armenian people the state to which they have brought the country. He  thinks this can only be done through espionage. But anyone spending  just an hour of their time can see everything: Pashinyan's illegal  actions, the external problems the country has faced under him, and  the internal issues. You don't need to be a spy for that. Pashinyan  had better figure out how many countries he himself is a spy for. At  least two of them are not friendly toward Armenia," Karapetyan  concluded.

Earlier, the Armenian prime minister stated that they plan to  transfer three territories to Azerbaijan as part of the border  demarcation process. He named only two villages in Armenia's Tavush  region. Experts believe the third is Tigranashen,  Ararat region. If  this Armenian territory is ceded to the enemy, a strategic road of  international importance leading to the border with Iran will be cut  off.
