ArmInfo. The time has come for Armenians who are currently contributing to the countries of their residence to return to the Homeland and begin rebuilding Armenia, as stated by Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the "Strong Armenia" party, during a meeting with the residents of Martakert.
He recalled that for many years, the country had been sustained precisely by the funds of compatriots from abroad. "These people were once forced to leave and bring benefit to other nations. Today, a small group refers to them as 'representatives of a foreign country.' But how can we call people who simply wanted to support their families 'outsiders'? This is their Homeland, which they supported through the money they earned abroad. The time has come for these people to be able to return to the Homeland, and instead of benefiting other nations, to begin rebuilding Armenia," Karapetyan emphasized.
According to him, it is under the leadership of Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, that their return to the Homeland will become a reality. "If the previous authorities of Armenia had fulfilled the promises they made over the course of ten years, no one would have been forced to leave the country. If politicians had resolved the problems facing the nation, we would have nothing to do today. We have stepped up because those promises were not kept, the country is being depleted, and people are leaving. However, I am confident that today, those who once left to make a living understand that the time has come not just to send money, but to return," Karapetyan concluded.
