ArmInfo. The 15th Council of Europe Forum "Cultural Routes" will be held in Yerevan this fall. The corresponding decision was confirmed by the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Alfred Kocharyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, and Rui Gomes, Executive Secretary of the Governing Council of the Council of Europe's Enlarged Partial Agreement (EPA) "Cultural Routes." The document was signed in Luxembourg.
According to the memorandum, an informal meeting of the Governing Council will also be held in the Armenian capital. The events are scheduled for September 2026.
The Consultative Forum will bring together approximately 300 representatives of Cultural Routes and member states. The Forum will serve as an important platform for exchanging experiences, establishing new collaborations, developing joint strategies for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage, and implementing educational initiatives that foster intercultural dialogue.
As a reminder, Armenia has been a full member of the EPA since 2015 and is part of the following cultural routes: Wine Routes, Impressionism, Paleolithic Rock Art Routes, European Cemeteries, European Fairytale Route, and European Route of Jewish Heritage.
