


ArmInfo. Armenia will launch a housing program for military personnel through mortgage lending. The Armenian government approved the program at its April 30 meeting.
According to RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, the program affects 2,850 beneficiaries who have been on the housing waiting list since the 2000s. According to the program, the state, through banks, will finance 90% of all financial resources, and the remaining 10% will be financed by the RA Ministry of Defense. The program will be in effect for four years: 700 beneficiaries in 2027, 812 in 2028, 719 in 2029, and 584 in 2030. These beneficiaries include contract military personnel, civil servants, registered former military personnel, former military personnel who have received a disability, and the families of deceased or deceased military personnel.
