Third Yerevan Dialogue to be held on May 5-6

ArmInfo. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the Third Yerevan Dialogue will be held in the Armenian capital on May 5-6.

According to the ministry, this year's conference, themed "Overcoming  Storms," will bring together leaders, politicians, and experts to  discuss rapidly changing global realities. The focus will be on the  transformation of international relations resulting from the shifting  balance of power, which is testing existing security systems while  simultaneously creating new avenues for dialogue and cooperation.

In the context of economic instability and growing competition,  participants will discuss the potential of strong regional  connections, improved transport accessibility, and trade to ensure  stability and shared prosperity. In parallel, the growing challenges  of hybrid threats will be addressed: despite mounting pressure,  democratic countries are developing partnerships aimed at ensuring  greater resilience. In line with global climate priorities, the  discussions will also highlight the urgent need for sustainable  development solutions that protect the environment, including within  the framework of the COP17 agenda.

"In this era of geopolitical turmoil, dialogue and cooperation are  essential for developing sustainable solutions. The emergence of new  challenges also provides an opportunity to strengthen joint efforts  towards peace, innovation, and partnership. We look forward to  fruitful discussions within the Yerevan Dialogue," said Armenian  Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in this regard.

The panel discussions will address topics such as: beyond  geopolitical differences; global interconnectedness; enlargement and  European integration; democratic resilience, hybrid threats, and  artificial intelligence; green transformation; technology and  security architecture.

This year, the event is being held in partnership with a number of  leading organisations, including the Observer Research Foundation,  the Casimir Pulaski Foundation (Warsaw Security Forum), the Centre  for Analysis, Planning and Strategy (CAPS) of the French Ministry for  Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), the  annual Concordia Summit and the Delphi Economic Forum.
