ArmInfo. On April 15, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov met with the Armenian Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Arsen Avagyan.  They engaged in a lively exchange of views on priority areas of Turkmen-Armenian partnership.

ArmInfo. The Armenian sports world was revived thanks to the tenure of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan as President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC). This was written on Facebook by Prosperous Armenia Party Press Secretary Ivetta Tonoyan in response to statements by Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, that Tsarukyan, already 70 years old, is ineligible to serve as  President of the NOC.

ArmInfo. The most important achievement of the current Armenian authorities over the past five years is the established peace with Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this from the podium of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on April 16.

ArmInfo. David Khachatryan has become a member of the Information Systems Regulatory Commission.  This was confirmed by the results of a secret ballot held in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. As part of the international forum “Turkmentravel – 2026,” which kicked off in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Culture, Atageldi Shamyradov, presented the country’s tourism development strategy. The minister’s speech focused both on preserving unique heritage and on creating new popular travel routes.

ArmInfo.  Russian Vice Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk departed for a working visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, which will be held on April 16.

ArmInfo. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of long delays of Georgian freight forwarders' railcars on Azerbaijani rail ferries at the port of Aliati on the Caspian Sea. This was reported to BMG by Paata  Tsagareishvili, Director of the Center for Transport Research.

ArmInfo. During the latest stage of the evacuation of Bushehr NPP employees on April 15, another 94 Russian citizens, who arrived from Iran to Armenia through the Nurduz-Agarak border crossing, returned to their homeland. This was reported in a statement by the press service of the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening of the exhibition titled "Arshile Gorky. New York - Yerevan. A new acquisition" at the National Gallery of Armenia. The government acquired the world- famous  American-Armenian artist's graphic work "Untitled" (1944) at an  international auction, which is an important contribution to the  replenishment of the national collection.

ArmInfo.  On April 15, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan held a videoconference with Serbian Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarevic.

ArmInfo.  The implementation of the TRIPP (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity - Ed.) program remains a priority for the United States, and we are receiving confirmation of this at the highest level. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement in response to questions from  members of parliament, addressing concerns about international media  reports that the United States is losing interest in this  cross-border project as economically ineffective.

ArmInfo.  Today, April 15, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the  first president of the Republic of Armenia,  received the Ambassador  Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran,  Khalil Shirgholami, at his residence.

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has referred to his main political opponent as an " agent of foreign influence," specifically targeting Armenian-Russian businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, who leads the Strong Armenia party.

ArmInfo. Today,  EU ambassadors  approved  a decision to send a new civilian mission to Armenia in Brussels, as reported by the RFE/RL's Armenian service, emphasizing that this decision paves the way for final approval,  which is expected to take place at a meeting of EU foreign ministers  next week.

ArmInfo. Relatives of missing servicemen held another protest outside the Armenian parliament. They continue to demand the publication of the  investigative report on the circumstances of the 44-day war in 2020.

ArmInfo. Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan believes thatArmenia and Russia must reach an agreement through discussions on the sale of the concession for Armenian railways. 

ArmInfo.The people of Armenia have no reason to vote for three-headed political forces whose accession to power could lead to war, as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on April 15 during a government hour in the  National Assembly, in response to a question from Eduard Aghajanyan, a member of parliament from the ruling Civil Contract faction.

ArmInfo.General aviation flights, including drones, will be prohibited in Armenia during the European Political Community (EPC) summit, as stated by the Civil Aviation Committee of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia has postponed the hearing in the case of Russian-Armenian businessman and leader of the Strong Armenia party, Samvel Karapetyan, until March 17. The judge argued that the time allotted for today's hearing had expired.
