ArmInfo. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan participated in a panel discussion entitled "Europe between New Forms of Power and  Domination: Geopolitical Role in a Fragmented World" at the third  international conference "Yerevan Dialogue."

ArmInfo. The newspaper of the family of current Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has attempted to attribute a "Belarusian connection" to the assassination  attempt on the head of the Civil Contract party headquarters in the  Balahovit community of the Kotayk region.

ArmInfo.  On the eve of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Russian Ambassador Sergei Kopyrkin took part in the ceremony to hand over the "Flame of  Memory" to Yerevan Secondary School No. 21 of the Russian Ministry of  Defense, organized by the All- Russian Popular Front movement and the  Rossotrudnichestvo office in Armenia.

ArmInfo. French President Emmanuel Macron, who encourages Armenia to reject Russia's "imperial" patronage, is himself acting like an heir to his country's imperial past, wanting to "teach everyone." This opinion was expressed in a conversation  with RTVI by Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the State  Duma Committee on CIS Affairs. ArmInfo.  On May 5, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan met with representatives of the international organization VenueEra Holding,  headed by CEO Jan Jents. The MESCS press service reported this.

ArmInfo.  Arusyak Julhakyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, was elected Chairperson of the  Parliamentary Committee on State and Legal Affairs by secret ballot.

ArmInfo.  On May 6, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, visited Misak Manushyan Park, where a new public playground,  "Armenian Inventors: Science from the Inside," was opened. According  to the government press service, the prime minister inspected the  facilities.

ArmInfo.  Kristine Grigoryan, head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Republic of Armenia, agrees with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's assertions about the  possibility of war in the event of a change of power in the country.

ArmInfo.  In February of this year, the Vedi Investigative Department opened a case of violent sexual assault against a minor, and a similar case was opened in  April.  However, as lawyer Lusine Martirosyan noted on her Facebook  page, the police, investigative bodies, and the prosecutor's office  are taking no action.

ArmInfo. Employees of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia have uncovered a number of violations committed by a group of individuals engaged in the  purchase and sale of foreign currency.

ArmInfo. On May 4, 2026, a meeting was held in Yerevan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan.

ArmInfo.  Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met in Yerevan to discuss opportunities to develop bilateral  cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

ArmInfo.  Ruben Hakobyan, lawyer for Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan and leader of the Strong Armenia party Samvel Karapetyan, has been transferred from house  arrest to administrative supervision. The lawyer himself told  ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. Police officers will be able to take advantage of government mortgage lending programs as part of social support measures approved by the RA government. The RA  National Assembly will discuss the first reading of the  government-proposed amendments to the Law "On Police" at its plenary  session on May 6.

ArmInfo. The sections of the joint declaration adopted following the Armenia-EU summit concerning critical infrastructure are, at first glance, presented as an agenda  for development, modernization, and "connectivity." However, this  language conceals a more serious problem:  the gradual restructuring  of control over infrastructure. Vahe Davtyan, a doctor of political  science and professor, voiced this opinion on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  As part of the "Yerevan Dialogue" conference, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisogomonyan participated in and delivered a keynote speech at the  high-level meeting dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia's  membership in the Council of Europe, entitled "Strengthening  Democracy in the Face of Modern Challenges."

ArmInfo. In Yerevan, on the sidelines of the first Armenia-EU summit, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Kaja Kallas, Vice-President of the European  Commission and High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs  and Security Policy.

ArmInfo.  As part of the "Yerevan Dialogue" international conference, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan met with India's Deputy Foreign Minister and  Secretary for Consular Affairs, Passports, Visas, and Indians Abroad,  Sripriya Ranganathan.
