ArmInfo.Azerbaijan's termination of contacts with the European Parliament is a sovereign decision of the country, and it comes as no surprise given the body's  interference in the affairs of other nations. Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova made this statement during her weekly briefing on May 7, in response to a request to comment on Baku's decision following the European Parliament's April 30 resolution in support of Armenian rights.

ArmInfo. A Yerevan court has released the brother of the Catholicos of All Armenians, Gevorg Nersisyan, and his nephew, Hambardzum Nersisyan, from house arrest. The two have been placed under administrative supervision.
