Konstantin Zatulin, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, believes that a probable reason for Iran's attack on Azerbaijan could be Baku's close cooperation with Israel and the overall political line pursued by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. In an interview with the publication "Podiom," Zatulin also noted that "there must be more compelling reasons."

ArmInfo. By the decision of the court of appeal, Archbishop Arshak Khachatryan, Chancellor of the  Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, has been immediately released from pretrial detention.  As lawyer Arsen Babayan reported on his Facebook page, the decision was made by  Judge Arsen Nikoghosyan.

ArmInfo.For better or worse, Armenia is not currently at the point where the Russian military base blocks its "field of vision,"  as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during a press-briefing on March 5, in response to journalists' questions about how can Armenia realistically pivot toward Europe if the closure of the Russian  military base is not on the agenda.
