ArmInfo.On March 26, the official ceremony of signing the first syndicated loan agreement in the history of Armenia’s banking system between six financial institutions took place.

ArmInfo. Armenia's Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, held a meeting with Brendan Carr, Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). During the meeting, a number of priorities in the fields of communications and security were discussed, particularly in the context of hybrid threats, countering disinformation, and related issues.

Secretary of the opposition parliamentary faction "I Have the Honor" Tigran Abrahamyan stated this at a briefing in the National  Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 27, commenting on Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement about passing a new Constitution  through a referendum at any cost.

ArmInfo. Ameriabank and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) have signed an agreement for a subordinated loan of up to EUR 15 million to support private sector development and job creation in the country.

ArmInfo. A US ground operation in Iran could begin in the coming days, according to WSJ journalist Alex Ward. Washington is considering seizing one or more islands off the country's southern coast, including the Islamic Republic's "oil heartland," Kharg, according to media reports. The Pentagon has already deployed additional forces to the region for this purpose. According to CNN, Tehran has already begun setting "traps" and sent additional troops to Kharg to repel an invasion.

ArmInfo. To what extent must the situation of the ruling political force in Armenia be critical to resort to such a pathetic method as blackmail with threats of war?  This was stated by Kristine Vardanyan, a member of the National Assembly from the opposition "Armenia" faction, at a briefing in the  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 27.

This was stated by Armenian Minister of  High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan during a roundtable discussion  on "Children's Online Safety: The Role of the State and Telecom  Operators," organized as part of the Telecommunications Week 2026  events.

ArmInfo. The vote is essentially secret, but our party's leader is Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and naturally, Nikol Pashinyan is the unequivocal and 100% prime minister candidate from the Civil Contract party. Civil Contract faction secretary Artur Hovhannisyan told reporters this on March 27 before the start of the extraordinary congress of the Civil Contract party.

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia reports the arrest of one person in connection with a criminal case opened in connection with a stabbing at a military unit of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

ArmInfo.  In 2025, the Committee of Ministers received 25 cases against Armenia from the European Court of Human Rights for monitoring their implementation, compared to 15 cases in 2024 and 28 in 2023. This is stated in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) 2025 report.
