ArmInfo. The incident between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armine Mosiyan, daughter of field commander Meruzhan Mosiyan, who lost his life in the Artsakh Liberation War in 1993, in the Yerevan metro exposed the real nature of the Armenian authorities. Artsakh State Minister Nzhdeh Iskandaryan shared his thoughts on this incident on Facebook.
He emphasized that this incident was not a random episode. According to Iskandaryan, this incident has exposed the true attitude of the ruling team in Armenia towards its own people. "This is the essence of these authorities. First, an insult, then the classic 'I didn't say that,' and finally, a social media post saying 'I'm ready to apologize.' However, this isn't a mistake, but a pattern of behavior. This is the real face of the authorities, who, in order to avoid responsibility, first deny the obvious and then try to 'hush up' its consequences," the Artsakh State Minister emphasized.
However, he noted that the issue is not just about the threats voiced by the Armenian prime minister, but about the policies pursued by the current Armenian authorities, as a result of which Artsakh citizens today find themselves defenseless, in dire social conditions, and under threat of emigration. "This is the same policy as a result of which people in Armenia are now left alone to deal with their problems. This is not an isolated incident, but a systemic issue that must be changed," Iskandaryan concluded.
