ArmInfo. The issue faced by Artsakh residents regarding vehicle operation without OSAGO contract, has been resolved Garnik Danielyan, opposition MP from the "Armenia" bloc, shared this information on his Facebook page. As the MP recalled, Artsakh residents had previously contacted him, saying that they were losing their only means of subsistence due to this issue. In response, he raised this issue during a session of the National Assembly on August 9.
"I have learned that the problem has finally been solved, and it is now possible to carry out the process with insurance companies without any obstacles. I am glad that in this way we can at least slightly ease the lives of our forcibly displaced compatriots from Artsakh," the oppositionist concluded.
Recall that back in 2023, human rights activist Ruben Melikyan reported that the RA patrol and guard service officers were fining Artsakh drivers 100,000 AMD for driving without insurance. According to the new rules, which have been in effect for the 3rd year, insurance can only be obtained with RP.
